Also, there's a point to be made that Toyota's vehicles are so weak that you could probably stop them with just your feet like Fred Flintstone. A source of mine tells me that we should expect "more to come" from the world of Toyota recalls. In my opinion, it stems from arrogance being the new top dog. GM was on top and started to just assume it would always be that way. It looks, to me, that Toyota is following the same path. If you're going to go with a Japanesse car, the clear choice is a Subaru. Although, as someone who actually enjoys driving, Toyota doesn't really make anything for me anyway. And what's up with that LFA? Do they really expect people to buy it when you could get a Porsche 911 Turbo for half the price and 1/3 the hassle?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2416503485899964380.post-58661842966976537062011-03-23T16:34:59.590-04:002011-03-23T16:34:59.590-04:00One does have to ponder why you would call 911 whi...One does have to ponder why you would call 911 while the car is speeding away with you? Don't they teach "neutral" and the use of same in driver's ed anymore? Turn key toward the "off" position, just not far enough to lock the steering? Put foot on brake? I'd buy a Toyota in a minute,as I never did buy the runaway car thing.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03693459462908948164noreply@blogger.com
